3D print order tracking, from confirmation to shipping.

  1. Record the order and customer

Add the items and quantities, then link the customer record. Keep their contact and company details available alongside their order history.

  2. Reserve the stock

Set the order’s stock aside and check the quantities committed to it. Use that record when planning other work or deciding what you can promise another customer.

  3. Update payment and shipping

Record payment when it arrives through your chosen payment method. Update the shipping details as you send the order, so its record reflects what has been completed.

Customer management for your print shop.

When a customer asks for another batch, look up their previous orders and confirm the new quantities. Their contact and company details are already in the customer record, ready for the next conversation.

Customer order history gives you a reference for repeat work. Your product catalog holds variants, SKUs, and stock, so you can check exactly which items the new request involves.

  • Searchable customer contact and company details
  • Previous orders linked to each customer
  • Product variants, SKUs, and stock records

Keep repeat products ready for the next order.

A product name alone is not always enough. Keep separate variants and SKUs for the colors or sizes you sell, then check which stock the customer needs before reserving it.

Your product records also hold production costs and selling prices. Review the estimated profit for a sales channel when you decide whether a repeat order or a different selling price makes sense.

Questions about order tracking.

Customer records, stock reservations, payments, and shipping explained.

Ask us a question
What does 3D printing order management include?

PRO includes order details, customer records, stock reservations, and payment and shipping tracking. Use them to record what a customer ordered, set stock aside, and update the order as you receive payment and ship the items.

Can I see a customer’s previous orders?

Yes. Link orders to a customer record to keep their history with their contact and company details. Look up previous work when they ask for another batch or a similar product.

What does reserving stock do?

A reservation sets a quantity of stock aside for a specific order. It separates what you have committed to that customer from stock available for other orders. Check the items and quantities before reserving them.

Does payment tracking collect money from customers?

No. Receive payment through your chosen payment method, then record the payment details and status in 3DPCC. Payment tracking helps you keep the order record up to date.

Can I control my printers from the orders page?

No. Use your slicer and printer tools to prepare and run prints. 3DPCC handles the business records: customers, products, reserved stock, and order updates.

Can I manage products and variants too?

Yes. PRO includes a product catalog with variants, SKUs, and stock. Use those records to identify the products you sell and keep track of their quantities. See product costs and profit.

Are orders and customer records available in Free?

Orders, customer records, stock reservations, and payment and shipping tracking require PRO. Free includes cost estimates with preset materials and printers. You can create a free account and choose PRO when you need order management. Compare Free and PRO.
